Detailed Design
As a project develops, NTS provide a detailed design and specification, supported by our own in-house CAD design department using the latest in earthwork and drainage calculation software.
Key points
- NTS possess a broad knowledge of various Performance Quality Standard’s (PQS’s) and Codes of Practice for the design, construction and maintenance of natural turf sports facilities. It’s vital that natural turf playing surfaces are constructed in accordance with such criteria, but also with an appreciation of the particular level of play that is required.
- Unlike many sports pitch consultants, NTS work on a fixed price basis, i.e. not a percentage of the overall contract cost. That gives our clients the reassurance that we, whilst never putting forward anything but a quality specification, would not seek to over-specify a project.
- NTS never put forward a ‘blanket’ or ‘one size fits all’ specification. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and recognise that turf performance criteria is different for different sports.
Tender Documentation
The NTS team have substantial experience in the preparation of formal tender documentation which can then be sent out to several approved specialist contractors, making clear contractual expectations including health and safety compliance.
Tender Process
NTS manage the tender process on behalf of the client & provide a tender analysis report, ensuring like for like tender bid comparisons are received and interpreted accurately.
